Spiritual Formation Coaching
How do you grow in your faith? The average person may strive to grow in their faith by reading the Bible or going to church, but often, this is how they grow in their knowledge, not their faith. Pastors can have great sermons, and there is much to learn from spending time in God’s Word, but there is more than just learning about God; it’s about spending time with God. But how does someone do that?
There are patterns, but everyone’s path is different. In our school lives, there are patterns for how we develop our reading and math skills, but it gets to a point in high school, college, and beyond that, our individual needs and personalities require a more tailored path. In the same way, there are patterns to our spiritual growth to a certain point, but then that path needs to be tailored based on personality and individual needs. Left to ourselves, we get stuck trying to find the right path based on knowledge; it’s more than just expanding our minds. The disciples grew in their faith when they learned from Jesus, but their experiences with Jesus were also significant.

“I appreciated having someone to talk to about what was going on. Not to get answers or advice, but to have someone listen and ask questions that made me look at things from a different perspective or think a little harder about things. Both of which can help you grow.” -Client
